Getting to Know Root 3

This project is an exploration of the the root-3 proportion in relation to the paper surface. It began with a paper-folding exercise in which we explored various ways to fold a single sheet of paper cut into root-3 dimensions; this led to a gradual observation of a network of points and relationships within those dimensions, from which the final composition was derived. As I played with iteration after iteration, I was able to arrive at a layout that generated a multitude of unpredictable reading experiences, allowing me to build in pockets of surprise.
