2019–2020
Web efforts included benchmarking, UX + visual design, QA testing and communications with Archive’s dev team in London. Working closely with Chris (founder & director at Archive), we customized Craft CMS with powerful layout tools such as carousel variations, complex alignment options, background fills, autoplaying video embeds, and even the ability to upload looping SVG animations.
When preparing assets and design layouts for 16 case studies to be included in the initial 2019 launch, I created a spreadsheet to track progress and divide tasks among the Manual team.

The new site allowed for lots of storytelling flexibility. Built on a grid offset system, we could control almost all aspects of the layout from the CMS by specifying the number of columns and padding units, which sizes and positions our assets accordingly. We also have the option to change the color of module backgrounds, typography, and even carousel styles from an inset “flow” sequence to cinematic full-bleed imagery.

CMS Documentation + Style Guide
I created a 69-page usage guide to ensure the Manual team can continue building case studies and use the Craft system in my absence. This guide thoroughly documents fundamental aspects of the CMS, asset preparation guidelines, content functions, layout parameters, as well as page styling methods.
